The 2017 Northern XC Championships took place on a tough and muddy course at Knowsley on Saturday, where under 17 and senior athletes from the club were well represented. The senior men’s race was won by GB international Ben Connor of Derby AC who was 16th at last month’s European XC Championships, while Claire Duck defended the senior women’s title she won at Blackburn in 2016.
