KAC AGM
Wednesday 21st November at Crossthwaite Rooms (by the Co-op). Venue to be confirmed. Please pop this date in your diary now.
Key thing: please just come along to what will not be a dry and dusty meeting but a social time where we can pool ideas for the coming year and build on our current success.
The meeting will follow the same successful format as last year. Doors open at 7 for beer (thanks to Steve Heb), tea/coffee and cake (thanks to anyone who will do a bit of baking for us).
The official business will be commence at 7.30 and will be done as quickly as possible to give time for chat and catching up afterwards.
On a serious note, we do need a few more people do help run the club. Lots of us doing a bit each seems the best way. Sam Stead feels it is time for someone else to be secretary although he is heroically going to carry on as Membership Secretary. A hard act to follow, I know, but if someone feels they can help us here that would be really appreciated.
Core Training.
This will begin again on Monday 29th October in Crossthwaite Rooms (still by the co-op) from 6-7. People asked, rightly, for a larger venue so we will have to pay a little more probably £3.50-£4 a session. Will will lead this again when he can which will be most of the time and one of the group will step in when he can’t. I will confirm details nearer the time.
Fitz Park.
The observant (and local) members will have noticed that there are now 100m markers around the pathway. These will help you do much more precise training and put in surges etc!! Thanks to Steve Harwood for this and the many other jobs he does for us so very quietly.
Its getting darker, time to get out the high viz and head torches.
Take care when out running,
KAC Committee.
