Keswick AC Ladies and men teams finished second in Saturday’s Cumbria Cross Country League fixture at Penrith. The second of five meetings.

On a beautiful day for running, Jenn Mattinson finished second overall in senior women’s race. Trudy Beetham was sixth, Niamh Hunter, eighth and Nicky Butler in 19^th place. The team finished with 16 points. 

Carl Bell won the men’s race, under-20s runner, Zac Hudd, finished sixth, George Foster ninth, Graham Airey 12^th, Ivan Holroyd 21^st, Simon Hunter 23^rd and Steve Jones 25^th. The men’s team also finished with 16 points at the end of the day.
