ROAD and FELL RACES SUNDAY NOVEMBER 18th
Brampton to Carlisle road race, the last of the KAC road championship races.

RACE ORGANISER NEEDED
We are looking for someone to organise the Not Round Latrigg race in the future.  Clive has done a great job with it for the past few years but is ready to pass it on.  You will probably all know that this is a very popular race as it attracts many road runners as well as fell.  It is run on a Wednesday evening in mid August.  if anyone is interested in taking it on do please contact me for more details.

Sunday 17th December Helvellyn 10k – this popular very flat 10k returns to the calendar again with Phil Winskill in charge.  Details on the website soon.

Thursday 21st December training – this will be the last before Christmas. It will be on the Round the Town course possibly a parlouf in fancy/Christmassy dress with a social evening to follow.

Tuesday 26th December – morning social run rather than evening training.  Anyone going to suggest a route and take a lead please?

Monday 1st January – usual run Round the Lake from the café at Hope Park, details on the website shortly

Sunday 7th January  KING OF THE CASTLE RACE 1pm Borrowdale YH –  this will be the first of KAC fell championship races for 2018 for seniors and U23/U18

Saturday 20th JANUARY KAC ANNUAL SOCIAL AND PRESENTATION OF AWARDS – this year we are planning a ceilidh at Threlkeld Village Hall for all members plus their families.  there will be food, dancing with a quitter room for chatting and prizes!! Probably £20 for adults and £5 for children.  Details later.

We are also looking at some Sunday fell runs in January and there is a trial Whinlatter Park Run on January 6th.
