Great results from the Inter-Counties Fell Running Championships held in Scotland last weekend.

Cumbria team (which consisted of all Keswick men: Carl Bell, Mark Lamb and Sam Stead) were fourth overall and the Cumbria ladies were second overall, featuring Lizzie Browne, Lou Roberts and Kelly Roberts.  Catherine Spurden from Keswick was on the Cumbria B team but came an incredible 5th lady overall, beating all the A team women, but unfortunately, because of having to declare A teams in advance her performance couldn’t count in the A team.  They would have won the gold medal if she had been in the team!
