FELL RUNNERS NEEDED FOR FILMING THE A WORD!
The TV company making a new series of The A Word require as many fell runners as we can find to film a fell race on Tuesday 6th and Thursday 8th from 9.00 till into the evening.  They are paying £50 a day but you need to be there on both days. They are asking for definite numbers so please let me know if you can help.  A Chris Eccleston look alike is also required still, apparently age doesn’t matter just height and chest size are key!

HELVELLYN 10K
As most of you know, this race cannot be held in June this year because the road is closed for repair work.  The club intends to substitute a new race in the club championships and also for the U23 and U18 championships. This new race will be on Saturday June 10th, details below:
The Crosby-Ellenborough 10K is being held as part of a summer fair to raise money for Crosscanonby Primary School, and follows the same route as the Ellenborough 10K, which is not being run this year.

KESWICK MOUNTAIN FESTIVAL 8-11 JUNE
The festival is looking for helpers and marshals for this year’s event.  Details below:
All volunteers get:
– Full weekend ticket (includes music on Friday & Saturday, entry to Adventure Tipi Talks and all Activity Taster Sessions)
– Free sporting event entry (sporting marshals only)
– Technical T-shirt
– Free camping spot (if required!)
Please note if someone has already booked onto a sporting event before volunteering then KMF will refund the cost of their entry.
