Sunday 4th April 2021 saw the long awaited return of racing at the @sportinaction2016 5km & 10km. Although it is early in the 2021 season (if we have a real season remains to be seen) there were some fantastic performances from Keswick runners.
The 10km Men’s and Ladie’s races were both won by Keswick runners. @jacobadkin must have been hoping his New Balance shoes were flame resistant, as he took the win in a scorching time of 30:53. @nic13jackson flew round to take the win in a blistering time of 37:31. Keswick runner Nicky Butler had an impressive result finishing 3rd in her category, finishing in 50:37.
In the 5km race, Ladies Captain @farm_girl_lindsay won her category in 22:25.
Fantastic effort by all. Lovely to see Keswick vests back on the start line of races!
