I’ll keep this short and sweet

But condensing such a lot

Is really no mean feat!

Lesley is a legend

As members often say

Breaking multiple V70 records

Letting no-one stand in her way

She’s measured and precise

And has been a fantastic Chair

Performing this vital role

With fortitude and flair

So thank you Lesley Malarkey

For showing us the way

Making sure we’re right on point

That we don’t get led astray

The club has duly voted

In this cold month of November

So whether you like it or not

We’ve made you a lifetime member

For EVERYTHING you’ve done

And the records you have broken

For all the cakes you’ve baked….
