Grass track speed session. A session suitable for all abilities. We will meet at the Fitz Park pavilion at 6 for a prompt 6.15 start, jogging across to the grass track at Keswick School. Session of 12 x 300m. These you can run entirely at your own pace, with suggested recovery of 150m easy jog in between. A good session to get the legs turning over a bit faster to develop speed and speed endurance.
No organised session tonight -just one session a week (on Tuesdays) for the summer while so many folk are simply out enjoying their running on fell & road in the good weather. Twice weekly sessions will resume later in the season.
Fell run and efforts up Cat Ghyll. Meet at Great Wood carpark 6 for 6:15 start. We will probably have two different ability groups at the least for this run, up Cat Ghyll with opportunity to continue on over Walla Crag, or up to Bleaberry Fell (and beyond). Suitable for all abilities -nobody gets left behind.
