  • Main Training Sessions

    These are serious training sessions which endeavour to cater for all levels of ability. Although there is always a set session, this may vary with the weather conditions and small groups are welcome to offer a separate activity. We meet at the Fitz Park pavilion at 6 for a prompt 6.15 start. Training time will vary but the sessions are generally an hour.

    Steve Hebblethwaite leading an offroad session on the front of Latrigg that will focus on both uphill and downhill technique. A good session incorporating some steep climbs and downhill running. Fell shoes essential!

    Grass track speedwork. Pyramid session: 300/600/900/1200/900/600/300 off easy-jog recoveries. On grass track at Keswick School. This session is suitable for all abilities. Meet at the Fitz Park pavilion at 6 for a prompt 6.15 start.  Training time will vary but the sessions are generally an hour.

  • Main Training Sessions

    No organised session tonight -just one session a week (on Tuesdays) for the rest of August while everyone is out enjoying their own running on the long summer evenings. Twice weekly sessions will resume in September.

  • Main Training Sessions

    Round Catbells Parlauf run & pub after, Swinside Inn. Parlauf is a fun session ran in pairs -slower runners paired with faster runners, run opposite directions round the loop (see map below), turn at the point which you meet your partner and retrace steps -so faster the runners have to run further, everyone runs the same duration and arrives back at the start point same time. Everyone welcome, meet Catbells cattle grid 6pm for a prompt 6.15pm start. Parking at Skelgill, please car share.
