TRAINING
Autumn training has got off to a great start, thanks to Dave and the team.  There will be generally a choice of two sessions so something to suit everyone.  Do come along, it has been great having such a good turn out again!
ROUND THE HOUSES RACE
As I mentioned last time, the committee are looking at ways to keep this iconic race going.  We need a new Race Organiser (thanks to Mike who has done such a good job with it recently!).  We also need to look at adjusting the route to make it safer.  There will be a full discussion of it at the committee meeting this Tuesday at 7.45 in the pavilion.  Do please come along if you have any views, ideas etc.  Everyone welcome!
ANOTHER REQUEST FOR MARSHALLING FROM AMBLESIDE AC
Dear Keswick AC, you may know that Ambleside AC is organising the British Fell Relays this year, in Grasmere, on Saturday 20th October. We will need an enormous army of helpers on the day for marshalling, car parking, dogs-bodying and goodness knows what else. I am keeping a list of people willing to help – jobs to be allocated nearer the date. If you or your partner, neighbour or random friend can commit to being available, then please do let me know with a name and email address.
